Like tattoos, a piece may be added to for years to come. We offer a variety of services with a range of price points, making repair an affordable option evolving over time.
Stiching $-$$$
Stich, patch, knit, crochet, embroidery; whether you have a heap of clothes you'd like to transform into something totally new - or a piece you would like to revive - we do it all.
Price varies by project - and it's ok to add fixes little by little just like one would add to tattoos over time.
DTF Printing - $
Whether you are looking for customization or to hide discoloration, our DTF prints are directly applied to your garment. We can add prints to soft and hard surfaces - this allows for TONS of customization options for a variety of products. Most drop ship services use DTF printing through factories outside of the country. Mass produced t-shirts are marked up at over four times production cost, prints are applied over seas and shipped to the customer. Our method allows you to personalize pieces of clothing you already own signifigantly reducing cost and waste.
Hand Painting - $$$
Soft flexible paints are used for soft surfaces. Enamel and acrylic based paints are used for hard surfaces. Direct application of paints allows the artist to craft a large detailed pieces to any object. We also offer bleach painting, where a diluted bleach is used to remove dye to create a ghostly impression.
Surface Adornment - $-$$
Glitter, sequins, beading, embroidery, rhinestones, rivets and wool felting! An old piece that is showing wear is the perfect canvas for a little bedazzling or felted patch.
Leather Tattoo - $$
Leather tatoos wonderfully. This is a great way to refresh and old pair of sneakers, leather jacket or sofa.
Shoe Repair and Adornment - $-$$
Most shoes are made of a combination of synthetic materials, leather and canvas. We offer surface repair using polish or glued patches. Shoes can be painted or tatooed for a custom look to hide discoloration. The rubber base of a shoe does not support dying or painting. But decor may be glued to the rubber base to alter or disguse the original surface.
Dying & Airbrushing - $
Dip dye, ombre, reverse bleaching, immersion dying - a great way to transform fading surfaces. Results will vary by material. We dye most fibers - although dyes for acrylics and polyesters are too toxic to work with.
We aim to minimize unnescary chemical waste. Airbrushing can be a great alternative to changing the hue of a material. Instead of sinking into the fabric fibers, a soft paint is used to deposit paint on the surface of the object. This is a good alternative when an object may not hold dye well due to material composition, or the dyes are too toxic to work with outside of industrial warehouses.
Waxing - $
The standard for waterproofing - before toxic chemicals came into play - was waxing. Beeswax is applied directly to a canvas or cotton surface and sealed with heat. This can be done to jackets, jeans and bags to create a slick waterproof surface that booth looks and feels great - without any toxic residue.
Stamping - $
Hand carved rubber stamps are used to apply long lasting inks to an objects surface. This is a unique way to personalize an object or hide discoloration through the ancient practice of block printing.
Upcycle Transformation - $$
Turn an object into something new. Give it a new purpose, a new life. We can take almost anything and find a way to repurpose it and keep it out of the garbage.
Misc. Surface Repair
Sometimes something breaks or cracks and we throw it away not realizing there are options for fixing such objects. Working with epoxy based clays and glues allows the artist to adhere broken pieces and repair cracks that otherwise would be the end of life for that piece.
